Lago di braies – a popular location for wedding photos
Places like Lago di Braies are of course popular for good reason: they are simply beautiful. Lago di Braies is also a popular tourist destination. What’s more, it’s easy to get to. As a result, we had to get up early for our after-wedding shoot to have the lake to ourselves as much as possible. We were also spoiled by this fantastic October light. The autumn temperatures were a challenge for all of us. But with tights under the dress and the right shoes as well as tea breaks, the two of them mastered the shoot wonderfully. What wouldn’t you do for such breathtaking wedding photos?

The Dolomites offer many beautiful locations for bridal couples in love with the mountains. Whether it’s an after-wedding shoot, an elopement or a classic wedding with a mountain view. For me, the Dolomites and Lake Braies are one of the most beautiful places for wedding photos.
Lago di Braies / Pragser Wildsee
Did you know that Lake Braies is also known as the “Pearl of the Dolomite Lakes”? Situated at 1500 meters, it offers a view of the imposing Seekofel. If you want to hike around the lake, you have to cover a distance of 4 kilometers. Important: In the summer months from July to September, the lake can only be reached by public transport from 9.30 am to 4 pm. You can only drive your own car at this time with a transit permit or parking space reservation.
