My Rules of Wedding Photography

No crazy filters that turn red to brown etc.

I don’t like exaggerated edited images and filters! The pink of the flowers should look the same as in reality and the blue suit should also be blue in the final images. That’s the only way you’ll have wedding pictures that you’ll still like in ten years’ time.

This day should be more than just “pretty pictures”

Don’t get me wrong, as a wedding photographer it’s my job to make perfect pictures for you.

But: this day is about so much more! We are here to celebrate your love and I don’t want to rush you from one photo session to the next. I want there to be space to enjoy, celebrate and be. And besides: capturing those moments of joy are often more precious.

Everywhere and nowhere seen

One of my most important principles is that I accompany your wedding day unobtrusively. I’m happiest when you and your guests don’t notice me or when they think I’m just a good friend. Of course, I’m always there for you, if you need me and intervene if necessary.

Whether it’s recommendations for service providers, sheduling or location suggestions – I will be happy to advice you during your wedding planning. Frequently asked questions

As a wedding photographer I offer wedding packages (on Saturdays only full-day coverage from 5 hours, on weekdays smaller packages bookable), elopements, mountain weddings as well as after-wedding sessions and couple sessions.

After you have contacted me, I will send you my pricing guide via e-mail. If this offer meets your expectations, we’ll have a video call to check whether the chemistry between us is right. I will send you a short contract and the deposit to go ahead with the booking.

This is individual for each couple. Most of my couples book a minimum of 8 hours. This covers the main points such as getting ready, couple shoot, wedding ceremony, reception, cake cutting and first dance. If you also want pictures at the party a larger package would be needed.

In general, you will receive all beautiful pictures. Of course, faulty and unfavorable pictures will be sorted out. How many pictures you end up with depends on factors such as the number of guests, program points, decorations, etc. As a guideline, I can give you at least 70 pictures per hour of photography.

Very important: You don’t have to worry about the location for the bridal couple shoot. I will make suggestions in advance and go on location scouting. As a photographer, I perceive locations and landscapes very differently. Light also plays an important role in my work.

Don’t worry, all my couples tell me that they are soooo unphotogenic. I will help you feel comfortable in front of my camera and guide you through the photo shoot. An engagement shoot is also a great way to warm up with me and my camera. I also get to know your strengths and weaknesses in front of the camera.

Luckily, this has never happened before. Should I suddenly fall ill, I will provide an equivalent replacement. I am very well connected and maintain my contacts with other wedding photographers. I have also stood in for colleagues which got sick.

Not at all! I have now photographed every kind of location, lighting situation and environment and know how to deal with them. I find it rather inspiring to shoot in new locations.

Weddings have been a part of my everyday life as a photographer for 14 years now. For me, there is nothing better than celebrating life and love with my couples.

Of course I will also capture your wedding if you are not getting married in the mountains. My heart generally beats for weddings with a connection to nature. In any case, I am happy about every request!

I always feel very honored when my wedding couples ask me to celebrate with them. I hope you understand that I’m usually exhausted after a wedding and prefer to relax afterwards with my boyfriend. It’s not unusual for me to have a 1-2 hour drive ahead of me. But on thing is sure: I will celebrate with you during my working hours. True to the motto: celebrate love and life!

In most cases, an hourly extension is possible. If you would like two or more spontaneous extra hours, we will discuss this individually.
