Kraftalm – Mountain Wedding in Tyrol
Today I have an insider tip for all bridal couples planning their very special mountain wedding: the Kraftalm near the Wilder Kaiser in Tyrol.

There are wonderful wedding venues around the mountain Wilder Kaiser: such as the Kraftalm. Located in the Kitzbühel Alps, the KRAFTalm promises pure summit happiness. The hut can only be reached by foot or by cable car. This takes you to the alpine pasture at 1,355 m on the way to the Itter summit. A great location for couples in love with the mountains.
The Alm has been family-owned for over 130 years. You can tell by the warm atmosphere. The new Kraftalm was opened in May 2021. It has a modern yet rustic feel. And you get all this with a view of the mountains between the Kitzbühel Alps and the Wilder Kaiser!
Mountain wedding with civil ceremony
If you choose this location for your wedding, you can have a civil ceremony in the “Ideen.Reich” room with its glass front and mountain view. Small church ceremonies can be held in the chapel and a outdoor ceremony with a view of the Kaiser is also possible. My bridal couple today wanted a winter wedding at the Kraftalm. We spent a unique day together in glorious weather with lots of sunshine, mountain views and snow. Thank you for your trust and for allowing me to show you a few pictures of this intimate wedding!

Did you know that it is not a matter of course for registrars to conduct weddings in such special places? In Austria, the decision to do so lies with the registrar of the respective municipality. They must be prepared to do the extra effort. Fortunately, this is possible at the Kraftalm. It should also be mentioned that in most cases this extra effort is also associated with additional costs for the wedding couple.
