Cool couples session in Brooklyn, New York
To be honest, I would never in my life have dreamed that I could have photo shoots in New York! During my stay in New York City in November, I was happy to meet this great couple and to photograph their couples session in the heart of Brooklyn.
Couples photoshoot at Dumbo & Brooklyn Bridge
When I told them, that I would like to shoot in Dumbo and at the Brooklyn Bridge, I thought they would roll their eyes. What a touristy place. But no, they didn’t! They liked the idea and enjoyed being there. If you are living in New York, you usually don’t go to the tourist hotspots. So maybe it is good to be with a tourist for day in your own city.
We started the couples session in Brooklyn at the Manhattan Bridge as well as the Dumbo Area. Dumbo is short for “Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass”. Over the years, this area has become a trendy area in Brooklyn. One highlight is of course the view of the Manhattan Skyline as well as the Brooklyn Bridge. The famous Brooklyn Bridge was our second shooting location. It wasn’t easy to shoot there, but we found small frames where the bridge wasn’t that crowded. Next time I will come back in the morning hours.
When writing this, wanderlust kicks in again and I would like to start travelling now. But the next trips are already planned, and I would be happy to take your pictures. You can find my travel dates here.
