You can have your civil wedding in the Wendelsteinhaus in the cozy M\u00fcnchner Stube. Next to the Wendelsteinhaus is also the highest church in Germany – the Wendelstein Church – where weddings are also possible. You can find a wedding on the Wendelstein on my blog here: Standesamt auf dem Wendelstein<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Civil wedding ceremonies only take place here on Fridays. The registry office in Bayrischzell<\/a> is responsible. You can easily reach the Wendelstein by cable car (from Bayrischzell) or cog railroad (from Brannenburg). If the cable car cannot run due to weather conditions, the wedding ceremony will take place in the town hall in Bayrischzell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For me, the weddings high up on the Wendelstein are always a highlight. I am glad to be there regularly for weddings. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n The Almbad Huberspitz <\/strong>in the area of Miesbach offers less of a mountain view but a beautiful view towards Lake Schliersee. After a 40-minute hike, you reach this natural gem (a shuttle service can be booked, the bridal couple or a car can also drive directly to the alpine pasture).<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is also possible to spend the night there with your guests. So why not turn your civil wedding into a weekend in the mountains? In addition to a civil ceremony, free weddings (with a wonderful view) are also possible here. For me as a wedding photographer, this dream finally came true a few years ago. In the Sonn Alpin restaurant high up, it is possible to have a civil wedding and then be pampered with culinary delights. That sounds good, doesn’t it? However, the dates are very limited and weddings currently only take place once a month (on Wednesdays). At 1800 meters above sea level, you can say \u201cI do\u201d in a special atmosphere at the Jenner mountain station. The Jenneralm’s dream room is 70 square meters in size and offers a wonderful view with a large window front. Weddings are only possible here on Tuesdays and on a few Saturdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I have summarized more pictures for you on this blog post: Heiraten auf dem Jenner<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n In Bad Reichenhall in the Berchtesgadener Land, you can have a civil wedding at an altitude of 1600m on top of the Predigtstuhl<\/strong>. The registry office is one of the highest in Germany. Weddings are held in the basement of the mountain restaurant. Before that, however, you have to take the nostalgic cable car up the mountain. After the ceremony, you can toast up here at the champagne reception or celebrate in the Max Stuben. In addition to the wedding ceremony, you can also celebrate your wedding here with up to 150 guests. And mountain views included!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Another popular location for a civil wedding is the Eisensteiner H\u00fctte and the Arberseehaus in the Bavarian Forest<\/strong>. The Seehaus is located in the valley and the hut at 1240m. At a wedding in the beautiful Arberseehaus, it is definitely worth taking the gondola and taking a few pictures on the Arber – the highest mountain in the Bavarian Forest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Austria’s highest registry office is located high up on the Pitztal Glacier<\/strong>. In the wedding room of Cafe 3.440, bridal couples can say \u201cI do\u201d with a view of mountains such as the Wildspitze and other dream mountains. Curious? The new Kraftalm was opened in May 2021. The alp itself has been family-owned for 4 generations and 130 years. This can also be seen in the warm and familiar atmosphere. You can have a civil wedding here with a view of the Wilder Kaiser. Afterwards, you can round off the day with a campfire and delicious food or simply hit the slopes after the ceremony. To the blog: Kraftalm \u2013 Hochzeit am wilden Kaiser in Tirol<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Right next door in \u00d6tztal is the Hohe Mut Alpine pasture. Here you can say \u201cI do\u201d at 260m. According to a Tyrolean proverb, marriages made on the mountain last forever! Of course, you can also celebrate here with up to 230 guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Perhaps you know the ice Q in S\u00f6lden from a James Bond movie. Located at 3048m, you can say \u201cI do\u201d in this futuristic building with mountain views. A truly extraordinary wedding location on the Gaislachkogl. The registry office in S\u00f6lden is responsible for this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Gamskogelh\u00fctte is located on the border between Salzburg and K\u00e4rten. You can also have a civil wedding at this idyllic location. The registry office even has space for 90 people. During the summer months, you can combine your wedding ceremony with a celebration at 1850m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Reith\u00fctte or the Poschn H\u00fctte on the Brenneralm are suitable for small civil weddings. You can book your date for a civil wedding here via the municipality of Faistenau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Getting married in Tyrol at 1580m? The rustic R\u00f6ssl Alm makes it possible. A civil wedding in the mountains and a celebration with up to 100 people is no problem here.
