An elopement in the mountains is the perfect choice for couples who want an intimate wedding close to nature. And what could be more impressive than the wonderful peaks of the Dolomites<\/strong>? The Cadini di Misurina<\/strong> is one of the most spectacular locations for your elopement in South Tyrol – a place that, with its dramatic rock formations and breathtaking views, is made for unforgettable moments and wedding pictures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why doing an Elopement in the Dolomites?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For me personally, I think the Dolomites have a very special beauty – jagged mountain peaks, gentle alpine meadows and an incomparable lighting atmosphere. An elopement here means letting yourself be embraced by the wind and nature, enjoying the presence of the mountains surrounding you. The Cadini di Misurina not only offers a spectacular backdrop, but also a touch of adventure for couples looking for something special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cadini di Misurina<\/strong> is a well-known Instagram spot. Perhaps you know this natural footbridge framed by jagged peaks? Why is this spot so popular? The Cadini di Misurina and the surrounding area are easily accessible. It’s just a short hike from the Auronzo hut at the back of the tre cime di lavaredo. It also just looks really, really cool. But it’s not just the viewpoint itself, the surroundings and the view every direction is great for exceptional elopement photos. Of course, the Cadini is very popular and everyone wants a photo there. The backside: there is often a queue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the elopement of my couple from the blog post, we were totally in the clouds at the start. We even briefly considered changing the location and shooting down in the valley. But luckily it quickly started to clear up more and more. We first decided to take a few photos on the way to the viewpoint, including a first look. Afterwards, we had a short shoot at Cadini di Misurina. Unfortunately, the view was not completely clear but I think the results still capture the Cadini di Misurina feeling. For the vows, we then looked for a quieter place and somewhere with a better view. Afterwards we celebrated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And just in time for the end of our elopement shoot, the clouds rolled in again and we were sitting in deep fog. Thanks to A&T for their trust and for allowing me to capture these wonderful moments of their elopement on the Cadini di Misurina in the Dolomites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
